Just watched Scotland v France and wished i hadn't bothered. Every year we are told that Scotland have a good team and we are always disappointed at the rubbish they play.
For years their game has been one dimensional, give a player the ball and he will just charge at the opposition but the 2010 Six Nations Championship promised much more, with Andy Robinson brought in to take the Scottish game to a new level.
He certainly has, a much lower level than before it seems, with the skill level as one dimensional as before with no variety in their play or change of tactics to counter what the French were doing.
Scotland's chance of doing well in this year's championship already looks bleak. Roll on next year when the team will be much better. Honest.
