If you have ever been house-hunting you will know that estate agents have a language all of their own. "The house has two reception rooms", is what he will tell you, when he actually means two sitting or living rooms. At least that's what i knew them as i was growing up.
"It's decorated in a contemporary style", is another example of estate agent speak. He really means it looks modern. A room that has quite a lot of light coming in translates as "light and airy".
Why they can't talk like the rest of us i just don't know. In their world an open aspect presumably means that the property has no roof.
