On the eve of the British General Election BBC reporter Tom Bradby was asked if talk of a coalition government had meant that not enough was said about the main issues. Whatever his answer, it was irrelevant, as the main parties took their usual stance during the 'hustings', as pre party posturing is called by speaking a lot but telling voters as little as possible about their policies while trying to hide all their unpopular policies as best they could.
So the winners of the election on 6th May will be liars of one form or other. Cynical? Or truthful?
